In order to give students access to the material you have selected for the syllabus, AU Library offers a semester shelf service.
This is where we gather all the books that form part of the syllabus so that there is always a copy available to the students. As a rule we also buy one or more copies of the books for lending purposes.

At Fuglesangs Allé, we do not normally have semester shelves, as we purchase a copy of all literature on the syllabus and make it available in the library’s reading room, as well as making one or more copies available for lending.
In this way there will always be at least one copy available from which the students can make copies for their own use.
The semester literature can be found in the reading room, shelved according to the book's topic.
The classification can be found by searching for the book’s title and/or author on library.au.dk.
Students can use the literature in the reading room around the clock, if they have 24/7 access.
If we are unable to purchase the literature for inclusion in the reading room, we can provide a semester shelf, please contact AU Library, Fuglesangs Allé.
