In order to use the library's print facilities you must be a registered user at Det Kgl. Bibliotek / AU Library.
You log in to your print account with your user-ID and your 4-digit PIN code. It is the same login you use when you lend out books to yourself on our self-service machines.
If you are not a library user you need to register to to be able to use our print facilities.
Remember to put money into your print account if you need to print and/or make copies.
Use of our print facilities requires you to deposit money into your print account before you can begin to print/copy.
Minimum deposit is 10 DKK.
If you have a balance of at least 50 DKK on your print account, you can get a refund by sending an email to oekonomi@kb.dk. You must provide your name, address and your date of birth.
Users without a Danish profile and print account can collect the amount by prior arrangement. This must be done before departure from Denmark, as we cannot transfer this type of amount abroad.
Print accounts with no activity will be closed after 1 year. Amounts of DKK 100 and above will be paid out automatically if the user has a CPR number and a Nemkonto is associated.
If, due to technical problems, you do not receive the printout/copies you have paid for, you have the option of having the printout/copy replaced by contacting a library employee.
The employees will decide in each individual case whether there is a basis for releasing the payment for the specific printout/copy so that you can receive a new copy.
You can use our Xerox machines or our book scanners to scan.
You can either send the scan to yourself by mail or save it directly on a memory stick.
