Call for videos or reports for The 12 Nordic Law Libraries Conference

Call for state of the art video or report

In former years the written reports from each library were gathered in a country report.

This year we kindly ask you to prepare a video or a written report. Deadline is June 1st 2022.

Requirements for videos

Two minutes will suffice, but longer videos are very welcome. The purpose of the video is NOT to show off great graphics or film producing skills, but to offer your foreign colleagues a chance to get a peek into your daily work life.

The films will be showed on a wide screen during an informal meet and greet. We will subsequently make the videos available on the conference homepage if you give consent.

Please do not hesitate to contact us in case of questions.

If you do not have the possibility to make a video, then you may send a power point with lots of pictures added a little text instead. We will then generate a small video with the PowerPoint show..

The videos complement the overall conference goal of networking and we hope that you will find the task rewarding.

Video spots

Share with us the appearance of the library building, let us see the library room, the reference desk or perhaps your dusty archives. Present the staff or make a short interview with a user. Tell us about a special effort you made within the last couple of years, your biggest success or be bold enough to show us a mistake that made you the wiser. Find a way in pictures and words to show the changes that has happened since 2018.

Many libraries are producing presentation videos for use in all sorts of situations. You may find inspiration in the different examples put forward here:
