The library creates semester shelves for the material that will be used in your lectures.
The material is intended to be used, copied or scanned in the library. It is not possible to borrow the books. Check the library system to see if there is a loanable copy.
As a student, you can use the semester shelf around the clock if you have a 24/7 access.

The semester shelf is a collection of books that comprise the recommended primary literature for the Master's degree programs at DPU.
The following literature is not placed on the semester shelf:
- secondary literature
- literature that is reprinted in a compendium
- journals (articles, etc.)
- online literature (web documents, e-books, etc.)
On the basis of the teaching plans we collect/purchase books and make copies available at the libraries in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
The books on the semester shelf are for use in the library only.
The semester shelf in Copenhagen is physically located at AU Library, Emdrup Campus.
DPU students can use the semester shelf (in Copenhagen) around the clock as it is placed in the 24/7 section of the library.
The semester shelf for DPU in Aarhus is physically located at AU Library, Nobel Park.

The library does not maintain semester shelves, but we do purchase copies of the syllabus literature and make them available in the library's textbook collection. The material is intended for copying at the library and cannot be loaned out.
