The Information Centre for Language Pedagogy at AU Library, Emdrup has been established on the basis of a document from 1979.

The library assignment

Literature (paper books and e-resources) on language learning and acquisition, didactics, teaching methods, assessment and testing, bilingualism and multilingualism, second language teaching, sociolinguistics, language policy and language planning in the major languages. Language journals/ e-journals and periodicals plus a number of relevant non-language journals and periodicals are continuously monitored for book selecting, information and updating.

The communication and information assignment

The Information Centre for Language Pedagogy has published the journal Sprogforum - Journal of Language and Culture Pedagogy from 1994 to 2005 and still contributes to Sprogforum (since 2006 -).
Articles from 1994 to 2005 can be accessed at the information centre's digital archive.
Articles from 2006 till 2017 can be accessed at Aarhus University Press and
articles from 2018 at Roskilde University Press.

Queries to the centre and replies are not placed in a database to which there is public access.
