What does this mean for you as a user?
The library at Fuglesangs Allé closed on 31 October 2025 and during the following two weeks it is relocated and integrated with AU Library, Bartholins Allé. Unfortunately, this means limited services for a period of time.
The Course collection (books from your reading lists for use at the library only) is available at AU Library, Bartholins Allé now.
The Loan collection is unavailable for 1-2 weeks from 1 November.
You could loan and return books at the library at Fuglesangs Allé until 31 October. We recommend using AU Library, Bartholins Allé or Royal Danish Library, Victor Albecks Vej instead.
From 17 October you can no longer choose "AU Fuglesangs Allé, Aarhus" as pick-up location for your requests.
We recommend using "AU Bartholins Allé. Aarhus" or "KB Victor Albecks Vej, Aarhus" instead.
From 17 October onwards, requests that were already on their way to Fuglesangs Allé will be redirected to Bartholins Allé.
Pick-up location and last pick-up date are specified in the pick-up notice you receive by email.
Print and copy services in the library closed 31 October. Other options are the libraries at Bartholins Allé or Victor Albecks Vej.
One computer is available in the library at Bartholins Allé.
When the relocation is complete, both LSEG Workspace computers will be available in the library at Bartholins Allé.
When the library closes, we can no longer deliver books directly to your office via AU internal mail service (Office Delivery).
From 30 October you can therefore no longer choose Office Delivery service to Fuglesangs Allé. Information on Office Delivery service for Universitetsbyen will follow later.
Existing Office Delivery requests will be delivered until 31 October.
Any remaining Office Delivery requests will be made available on Bartholins Allé hold shelf.
Office delivery books returned via AU internal mail service after 31 October can be delayed because of transit time. We recommend that you return your books well ahead of the due date or physically at the libraries at Bartholins Allé or Victor Albecks Vej.
