We have collected some the relevant information about information retrieval and on how to quickly and efficiently find the materials you need. (In danish only).

Avoid plagiarism

It is important to know when and how to cite your sources, so you avoid being accused of plagiarism. AU Library has gathered a fair amount of ressources, so you can figure out exactly how to avoid it.


Do you know the rules about copyright, when you are studying and writing papers? Figure out how and when you can use pictures, video-recordings or other materials here.

Reference management

AU Library offers training and guidance in a range of reference tools, so you always know which sources you are referencing and where.

Home Access

As an employee or student at Aarhus University or Aarhus University Hospital you can get home access to the electronic resources which AU Library subscribes to.


When you are to start writing your thesis it can be very helpful to see what other students have written.

On the page about theses you can e.g. find an overview of theses from Aarhus University.

Upload Thesis – Aarhus BSS

If you are a student at Aahus BSS, this is where you must upload your thesis (bachelor, master or HD)
