Your university library

AU Library is your university library which includes all the libraries located on campus as well as Det Kgl. Bibliotek - Aarhus on Victor Albecks Vej.

In collaboration with Det Kgl. Bibliotek we give you access to all the research and literature you need throughout your studies at AU.

Library user at AU Library

Log into our library system using your AU login (WAYF) and register as a user. You can then order and lend books, use the library printers and access our electronic resources (articles, e-books, databases). Find out more about how to register as a user. 

Print and copy

AU Library has a joint print and copy solution. With your library login you can automatically gain access to print and copy and use the service on all the different locations. Read more about prices, print options and more.

One library - many locations

AU Library has multiple locations. You are free to choose which library you wish to make use of, when you need to pick up and return books. However, if you have any academic questions regarding a specific field it would be wise to pick a library that is connected to that specific field.

Opening hours

The opening hours vary from location to location - and it is possible to get guidance in your specific academic field from our staff. Most libraries also have 24/7 access for students and employees connected to their main scientific field.

Home access

When you are a registered library user, as a student or employee at AU you can access the large amounts of online resources from the Det Kgl. Bibliotek and AU Library (home access). These resources can be accessed through library.au.dk.
