Databases and e-journals

AUH Psychiatry has from 2020 access to AU Library’s electronic material, databases and e-books. The new access is similar to the rest of AUH.

Use one of the following apps in Citrix: ‘AU Library-E-tidsskrifter mv’ or ‘AU Library-PubMed’ or start at library.au.dk.

Additional guides: Getting access (in Danish)- Detailed access guide (in Danish)

As employee at Psychiatry and social services in Central Denmark Region you have access to e-journals and databases via DEFFnet: rmidt.tdnetdiscover.com You can access DEFFnet via the PCs on Psychiatry's network. Outside of Psychiatry's network you can get access via the Citrix portal.

NOTE! Psychiatry employees who are also employees or students at Aarhus University can continue to use the University's e-resources via library.au.dk

Tailored courses

If you have a need for a course or a workshop at your department, we are happy to come out to your location. The content will be defined by your needs and could for example be:

  • Advanced use of PubMed
  • Introduction to PURE
  • Help with RefWorks/Endnote
  • Literature search for systematic reviews
  • Structured literature searches

Courses usually last 1-2 hours.

Call or write to make an appointment or get more information.

EndNote

Central Region of Denmark has terminated the license to the reference management software RefWorks and switched to EndNote.

EndNote is available through citrix.

Guide til EndNote (in Danish). On page 49 you will find a guide to transferring references from RefWorks to EndNote.

Please finish all documents using RefWorks before you switch to EndNote. Your RefWorks account will expire in March 2020.

If you are a student or employee at AU you can download EndNote via the university network outside of citrix.

You can also choose a free reference management software like Zotero or Mendeley. These are however not supported by AU Library.
