Gyldendal's Dictionaries and ordbogen.com have merged. This means that students and employees at Aarhus University now gain access to all the dictionaries via the same platform: ordbogen.com.

Using the dictionaries offline

As a student or employee at Aarhus University, you have the possibility of using the dictionaries offline.

You must be connected to the University network to be able to download ordbogen.com's dictionaries for offline use:

• Go to ordbogen.com
• Click on 'Download' at the top of the page
• Under the ‘Enkelt bruger’ [Single user] option you can download the version that matches your computer’s operating system. Remember to accept the license terms
• Once the file is downloaded, open it and follow the installation wizard
• You will then be able to open the dictionary on your computer, both online and offline

If you do not use the dictionary for six months, the license on your computer will expire. You will then need to start the program while you are on the University network in order to reactivate the license.
