    Smaller database containing academic articles and e-books published by Elsevier. Covering such areas as management, marketing, branding, consumer behaviour, business communication, social media and corporate culture.
  • Emerald 
    Smaller database containing academic articles from the publisher Emerald. Covering such areas as management, marketing, branding, consumer behaviour, business communication, social media and corporate culture.
  • Sage Journals Online 
    Smaller database containing academic articles from the publisher Sage. With a broad coverage of the social sciences, including politics, sociology, economics, marketing, management, language and communication.

    Access to Gyldendals online dictionaries including Gyldendals Røde Ordbøger (Danish-English and English-Danish), Gyldendals Vinterberg & Bodelsen (Danish-English), Gyldendals Kjærulff Nielsen (English-Danish) Gyldendals technical and engineering dictionary (Danish-English and English-Danish), Gyldendals medical/dental dictionary (Danish-English and English-Danish) and Gyldendals legal dictionary (Danish-English and English-Danish).
  • Oxford English Dictionary
    Dictionary of the English language. The contemporary meaning and usage of words, as well as word origins.
  • Ordbogen.com
    Danish-English and English-Danish dictionary, covering such areas as trade, technology, IT, medicine and law.

Consumer behaviour

  • Passport  
    Passport (formerly GMID - Global Market Information Database) from Euromonitor provides information on demographics, economics, consumption and market conditions. Here, you can find  product/consumer statistics, lifestyle reports, market reports and company reports.
  • World Advertising Research Center (WARC)
    Portal containing various analyses, reports, news, articles and case studies within the business communication field - e.g. marketing, branding, consumer behaviour, etc. The data is, in many cases, evidence-based and may originate, for example, from ESOMAR or Advertising Research Center.
  • Statistics Denmark
    Under the topic "Prices and consumption" you can find national statistics on the sale and consumption of alcohol, tobacco, property, food, cars, etc.
  • International statistics
    Statistics Denmark has compiled links to various international statistics on prices and consumption, divided into European sources and sources from the rest of the world.

    Access to information on the global media industry. Adforum contains more than 70,000 adverts from various media sources. Click "log on" and then the menu item "Home" to use the database.

    Portal containing various analyses, reports, news, articles and case studies within the business communication fields; marketing, branding, consumer behaviour, etc. The data is, in many cases, evidence-based and may originate, for example, from ESOMAR or Advertising Research Center.

  • Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology
    A short article describing the concept of "social media"; its history, uses, future, etc. Moreover, there are a number of references to further reading, so this can be a very good basis for further information searching.

  • ABI / INFORM Global

    Database with academic articles on the use of social media in businesses and organizations.

  • Communication & Mass Media Complete (CMMC)
    Database containing academic articles, seen from a language and communication studies angle on the concept of "social media". 
  • Passport (GMID)
    Database from Euromonitor containing various types of analysis, for example, consumer reports – categorised in relation to media use. Choose, for example, the tab "Consumers" and then "Technology, Communications and Media".
